All the People: NEA's Legacy of Inclusion and Its Minority Presidents
is a recently authored book by noted historian Al-Tony
Gilmore, which highlights NEA's minority presidents and their contributions
to the organization's legacy of inclusion.
Mr. Al-Tony Gilmore will be on hand to sign his new book on Monday,
Nov. 24, 2008 at the Capitol Hilton Hotel, in Baton Rouge, LA. Make sure
to meet this historic author between 8:00am and 10:00am. His books will
be on sale and he will be available for book signing.
Picturing America
NEA has partnered with the National Endowment for the Humanities to provide
an excellent resource to encourage the learning and study of American
history and culture. Picturing America is a free resource that
can be readily used in every classroom and public library. Qualified applicants
will receive a set of 40 high-quality reproductions (approximately 24"
x 36") of great American art, and a teacher resource book.
