About LAE

The Louisiana Association of Educators is an affiliate of the 2.7 million member National Education Association.  The mission of the organization is to empower local affiliates to promote quality public schools, to strengthen the education profession, and to improve the well-being of members.  It provides professional leadership, legal services, legislative/political involvement, a member benefits program and professional and personal development throughout the state.
